I got a "ACC SKID CONTROL" light and my mercedes shut off....?

I have a 1998 mercedes E320. As I was driving today, a "BHS" light came on the car panel, I restarted it, & it went away.Then I drove about 2 minutes and my whole panel light up. A light that said ACC SKID CONTROL came on, as well as check engine light. I went to accelerate and the car would not move, it lost all power. I waited, then turned it back on and it was fine. 2 minutes later it did the same thing, then would not start for an hour. Everything was shut down, doors would not lock, no lights (except hazards)NOTHING would work... Now it started up again fine and I let in run for 15 minutes, no problem... what does this mean?
