I need to find information on my 40's-50's Maytag Dutch Oven Gas Range?

I have a 40's to 50's Maytag Dutch Oven gas range that I need to change to propane, and I'm having hell finding a manual or instructions on how to do so. The serial number is U 764406, Model is 24A-04...I called Maytag and they cant find it (because the way they do their serial numbers has changed since it was made), the phone operator suggested emailing them...I've done that, and I've searched all over the internet...I can find a cookbook, but not a instructions manual. Can anyone help?
