My Boyfriend HATES Valentines Day but I already made him a gift... Should I still give it to him?

I'm so confused. For Valentines Day I made my boyfriend a jar and decorated it then inside put 255 hershey kisses and 255 reasons why i love him (we will have been going out for 255 days on Valentines Day). Well now I found out that he absolutely HATES Valentines Day. He told me that if he could get rid of a holiday that he would get rid of it. So idk what to do! Do I still give it to him? (It took me several hours to make) Or do I forget about it all together? ):
